Gate 2012 Notification

Usually GATE notification come in the mid of September, but this time it’s being announced earlier. As we predicted IITD will be organizing GATE 2012. One major change happened this year. Third year engineering students are not eligible for GATE 2012. Final Year Engineering students can appear for GATE. This is a good move towards a clear admission strategy for M.Tech

Application Process and Fee:
GATE aspirants need to apply online for GATE 2012. There no offline or paper based application in GATE 2012. There is no sale of GATE application form at different Banks and counters. Candidates need to apply through their regional GATE websites. To know your zone please refer to GATE 2012 information brochure.

The application fee is Rs. 1000/- for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST/PD candidates.
