Chiyaan Vikram has been selected as the Youth Envoy for the “UN Habitat” (United Nations Human Settlement Programme). Vikram is part of the Asian Contingent wherein only 4 envoys have been selected from around the world. He has been invited for the 23rd Governing Council meet in Nairobi, Kenya. The convention begins from 11th to 15th April 2011.
He is the founder of “The Vikram Foundation” which works towards providing aid to the disabled & under privileged, women & child development. He is also the precipitator of “The Kasi Eye camp” which actively conducts free eye surgery and has restored vision to hundreds of the under-privileged sector in India.
In continuation of his various social activities, Vikram will now as an Actor Youth Icon carry across the message and work towards fulfilling the aims and goals of the UN.
